Q: What is the deadline to enter the competition? A: All entries must be postmarked by December
15, 2010, or earlier.
Q: Does the competition accept international entries? A: Yes, the competition
is open to everyone regardless of nationality or origin.
Q: Do you have to be 18 years old to enter the competition? A: No you do not need to be 18 years old to enter, however; If the entrant is under 18 years old, the signature of the parent
or guardian is required.
Q: Can I enter more than one song in the same category? A: Yes, you may enter as
many songs as you wish in as many categories as you wish. However each song requires a seperate DVD or cassette, entry form,
and fee.
Q: What is the entry fee to enter the competition? A: The entry fee is $30 USD per song.
Q: When are the winners announced? A: Winners will be announced in March 15, 2011.
Q: Can I enter the
same song that I entered last year? A: Yes, if your song did not win Grand Prize of 1st Place in any category, you are
encouraged to enter again.
Q: Do I still own the rights to my song after I enter the competition? A:
Yes, songwriters retain all rights to their songs.
Q: Do I need a professional recording to enter my song into the
competition? A: No, songs are judged based on the lyrics, melody, originality, and composition, not performance
or production.
